I enjoyed reading this book. It was an easy read and felt very authentic. The exploits of the Lumberjills was both entertaining and educational, though at times the story line felt just a little bit disjointed as the chapters jumped ahead in time and locations.

Being familiar with the true stories hidden within this novel, Joanna does a masterful job of incorporating them into the compelling narrative of this story
