Fascinating read about the women's timber corps during WW2

I'd caught an item about 'Lumberjills' on BBC Countryfile in 2022 and wanted to know more so did some online research and found out about this book.

We had a Timber Measurer in our family and now we know what she did. Can I say that it was a special branch of the Womens Timber Corps ? If you had any mathematical abilities you would be diverted to train as a Timber Measurer.
